Worsted Weight and Bulky
For those knitters who prefer thicker yarns, don't despair! I'm adding some worsted and bulkier-weight yarns to the Black Bunny Fibers shop. I am hoping to stock some 100% merino superwash worsted weight on a more regular basis, as well as the heavy worsted non-superwash wool I've offered in the past. I have been experimenting with a wool/mohair boucle and a gorgeous wool/silk blend (the latter is perfect for the Clapotis!). I sometimes dye larger batches of worsted weight yarn, such as Wensleydale or Blue-Faced Leicester, so check back often.
Another fun new base yarn, Bump is 98% merino wool with a binder ply of 2% nylon. Soft and quick-knitting, it will make great scarves and other accessories. About 156 yds per skein.

New base: supersoft 70% merino/30% cotton! Soft wool is plied with cotton for a two-tone, barberpole-striped yarn. Each skein is about 170 yds, knits at 3-4 sts per inch. Handdyed w/ commercial dyes.

100% wool, knits at 3-3.5 sts per inch on approx. US #10 needles. Jumbo skein holds 475 yds/250 g. Not superwash. Super soft and lofty.

Limited number of Cloud: a thick-and-thin, bulky, 100% wool yarn. Soft and warm; perfect for a quick-knitting scarf, hat or mittens. Each skein is 120 yds/8 oz. and will knit at around 2-3 sts per inch on big needles. Handdyed w/ commercial dyes.

Miniloop boucle! A huge hank of 500 yds/8 oz, handdyed. 86% kid mohair/14% nylon. Super-soft and light! Enough for a small shawl.
