Border Blend roving: 40% border leicester wool/20% silk/40% mohair

Get it while it lasts:  this fabulous blend of 40% border leicester wool/20% silk/40% mohair is a special purchase and once it's gone, it's gone!  Made from sheep and goats raised with love in the USA, too, so your purchase supports small farmers.  This is a wonderful blend of fibers, soft and airy as a cloud!  You'll notice the difference in the photos:  this roving is not at all compacted but so lofty and airy you'll need to do only minimal predrafting.  Spins beautifully, even for less experienced spinners.  Each batch is approximately 4 oz and dyed individually with commercial dyes.  There is a lot of depth and subtle beauty in these rovings as the different fibers take the colors, although the rainy weather here has made it harder for me to capture the beauty in photographs (Venice, Spearmint and Neptune's Moons are particularly tough to capture in a photo but each is lovely and not washed out as the photos suggest).  More photos on my Flickr feed.
